Kate and Will have managed to show and make people believe that fairytales can come true, and they proved this once more with the birth of their son, the third in line to the throne and the future King of Britain.
While this gorgeous little boy is only about 31 hours old and doesn’t even have a name yet, the world has gone absolutely nuts over him, and for good reason. It really is an exciting event in history and for the royal couple, and having watched the live feed on the TV, it is something I will never forget, just like my mom when she saw Princess Diana bring William out of the hospital.
It’s moments like these that make you feel like you are part of something so much bigger. And even though one may have zero relation to the royal family, the excitement and joy of his arrival is still there and felt by millions of people around the world. If you look at the news coverage over the last 48 hours surrounding the birth of HRH, you can see the vast global interest that this one little guy in England has created. It does amaze me how a tiny baby can bring people from all backgrounds, countries and cultures together peacefully. A baby can help put things into perspective and you realize what is actually important in life. For a few moments you forget about problems or anything else happing around the world. In these moments, time seems to stop and people once more get whisked away into the wonderful William and Kate fairytale.
