Cinderella Exhibit in London

The new live action Cinderella movie is taking the world by storm! It’s capturing the hearts of the old and the young! Reminding those who already know the classic Disney story, as well as introducing this magical & romantic fairytale to a whole new generation of viewers. While nothing will quite ever replace Disney’s original animated version of Cinderella, this movie is absolutely wonderful and a must see. Watching it you are whisked away into another world full of love, magic and the most beautiful costumes you have ever seen!

That is why the smart people at Disney decided to set up a FREE exhibition in the center of Leicester Square in London, so that anyone could go and see the costumes and sets from the movie. The specific highlight for me was being able to see that stunning blue ball gown that Cinderella wears up close and in person.

So I am warning you now, this is a photo heavy post but I wanted to share with you the different costumes and set pieces I saw in the exhibit. All the items on display were the original costumes and pieces from the set of the movie that were flow over from California for the exhibition in London. I have always been a movie buff and have loved watching behind the scenes of movie being made and been on a couple movie sets when I was younger. Thus this exhibit was right up my alley! It wasn’t even that big an exhibition but it literally took me an hour to go through it (I would say average is 30min or less) and I still didn’t feel like I really saw everything!

The exhibition is on until April 10th, so if you are in London I highly recommend you go give it a visit and you can find the link here.
